Rolfing® Structural Integration is a system of soft tissue manipulation and movement education.

Ida Rolf believed that our physical form – our posture, or structure – is not stuck in place.  The way your body has become molded in place over time – with the accompanying slumping shoulders, chronic back pain, restricted movement, or an inability to relax  – can be changed, at almost any point in life.

The goal of Rolfing is to change your body’s structure so that you can rediscover, or find for the first time, an easier, healthier sense of balance and equilibrium.

Benefits of Rolfing include:

Help with chronic pain
• Increased mobility
• Improved posture and appearance
• Enhanced athletic performance
• Greater sense of well-being

Sam Johnson works with Rolfing client for neck and shoulder pain

“Some individuals may perceive their losing fight with gravity as a sharp pain in their back, others as the unflattering contour of their body, others as a constant fatique, yet others as an unrelentingly threatening environment. Those over 40 may call it old age. And yet all these signals may be pointing to a single problem, so prominent in their own structure, as well as others, that it has been ignored: they are off balance. They are at war with gravity.”
